James H. McWilliams of Waunakee, formerly of Baraboo, passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at the VA hospital in Madison WI at the age of 70. James was born on July 16, 1942 to Harold and Velma (Buss) McWilliams of Baraboo.
James was an electrician for 45 years until retiring from the union. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Playing the accordion, oil painting, NASCAR Racing as well as gardening and fishing were among his passions.
James is survived by his three children, Mark (Cheryl) McWilliams of Waunakee, Kim (Brian) Sefkar and Jay (Kerry) McWilliams of Baraboo; nine grandchildren and two step grandchildren. He is further survived by a sister Dorothy Hamer of Baraboo and other relatives and friends.
Preceding James in death are his parents Harold and Velma and a Brother-in-Law Harv Hamer.
Services will be held at Redlin Funeral Home on Friday November 30, 2012 at noon, Pastor Jonathan Tipton officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 until the time of the service with burial to follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery in La Valle. Military Rites will be held at Oak Lawn Cemetery.
Phyllis H. Stanton, Barboo
Phyllis H. Stanton, age 88, of Baraboo died on November 14, 2012 at St. Clare Meadows Care Center. Phyllis was born on April 21, 1924 in Baraboo to Herman and Ethel (Johnson) Stanton.
Phyllis worked as a bank teller for 43 years at Baraboo National Bank.
Phyllis is survived by her cousins, Joan (Jim) Pope and George (Bernie) Johnson; and many other relatives; and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and cousins, Joyce (Chet) Vogel and Robert (Ruth) Johnson.
A Funeral Service for Phyllis will be held Monday, Nov. 19, 2012 at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church with Pastor Carl Schroeder officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery. The Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Donna Mae DuBois, age 79, of North Freedom passed away on November 7, 2012 at the St. Clare Meadows. Donna was born on January 1, 1933 in LaRue to Merton and Hazel (Crawford) DuBois.
Donna lived in North Freedom all her life, and was a member of the North Freedom Methodist Church. She was a caregiver for her parents throughout her adult life. She loved gardening and animals, most of all birds.
Donna is survived by her aunt, Shirley Liebig of Baraboo; several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; several aunts and uncles.
A Graveside Service is scheduled for Monday, November 12, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Oak Hill Cemetery in North Freedom, with Rev. Verlyn Harr officiating.
Robert Thomas Cleven, Reedsburg
Robert “Bob” Thomas Cleven, age 54 of Reedsburg, formerly of Baraboo, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at his home. Bob, the son of the late Edward Morris and Betty Jane (Friedl) Cleven, was born on August 5, 1958 in Madison.
Bob enjoyed wrestling and sports, especially the Badgers and the Packers. He loved music and was an avid Kiss fan, having been able to identify any of their songs within the first few bars. Bob was a very outgoing person and genuinely loved talking to people. He was affectionately known as “the greeter”.
He is survived by his four siblings, Linda (Travis Ewing) Handel of North Freedom, Laureen (Chuck) Maloney of Madison, Bruce Cleven of Sauk City, and Jane Swyrtek of Middleton; nieces; nephews; aunts; uncles; other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brother, Morris, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2012, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the Redlin Funeral Home, 401 Madison Avenue, in Baraboo. Private inurnment will take place in the Black Earth Cemetery.

Myra McGonigle, Baraboo
Funeral services for Myra “Mickey” McGonigle were held on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Baraboo with Father Scott Seefeldt officiating. Music was provided by organist, Stephanie Seefeldt. Burial took place in the Walnut Hill Cemetery with Tom Robinson, Rob Fichter, Blake Fowler, Gordy Caflisch, Joe Prchal and Jon Van Oosten serving as pallbearers.
Randall R. Rosenbaum, Baraboo
Randall R. “Randy” Rosenbaum, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Friday, November 2, 2012 at Agrace Hospice Center in Fitchburg, at the age of 44.
Randy was born on February 29, 1968 to Bob and Rita (Winchel) Rosenbaum in Sauk City. He graduated from Baraboo High School in 1986. Randy was united in marriage to Danna Volk on August 13, 1994 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Baraboo. He had been employed by Allen Steele Company, Inc. of Lake Delton for 19 years. He thoroughly enjoyed grilling out with family, motorcycle riding, camping, and family trips.
Randy is survived by his wife, Danna; his three children, Jordan, Caitlyn and Logan; parents, Bob and Rita; brother, Royce; his maternal grandmother, Garnet Winchel; his father-in-law, Dan Volk; sisters-in-law, Shannon Starling and Kathy Starling; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; cousins; many friends, and his four pugs.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bob and Jeanette; his maternal grandfather, Glenn Winchel; and his mother-in-law, Sue Volk.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Baraboo with Father Jay Poster officiating. Burial will follow in the Walnut Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Redlin Funeral Home, 401 Madison Avenue in Baraboo, and on Wednesday, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
Victorien “Vicky” M. Klitzke, Baraboo
Vicky Klitzke, age 76 , of Baraboo passed away on Nov. 1, 2012 at St. Clare Hospice House. Vicky, daughter of William and Gladys (Robson) Wilkinson was born April 16, 1936 in Mazomanie. She was united in marriage to Alvin P. Klitzke on Oct. 22, 1955; he preceded her in death on Nov. 4, 2009. Throughout their marriage, Vicky was a hard working farm wife and homemaker. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Baraboo, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and Baraboo Elk’s Ladies Auxiliary. In her free time she enjoyed bird watching, traveling and fishing.
Survivors include her daughter, Bonnie (Charles) Eastman of Madison; her sons, Joey (Gail) Klitzke, Gregg (Terry) Klitzke all of Baraboo; five grandchildren Amanda Schmidt, Scott (Corrin) Maier, Casey Klitzke, Maverick Klitzke and Tristen Klitzke; five great-grandchildren, Connor and Natalie Schmidt and Owen, Addison and Hayden Maier; she is further survived by her faithful friend, Ginny Fenske, other relatives and many friends.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers and a sister.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, Nov. 5, 2012 at 11 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with Pastor Karen Hofstad officiating. Burial will be held at Walnut Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012 from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Redlin Funeral Home and on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, American Cancer Society or St. Clare Hospice House.
Myra (Mickey) McGonigle, Baraboo
Myra (Mickey) McGonigle, 77, of Baraboo, entered eternal life under the care of St. Clare Hospice after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012, in the loving arms of her family. Mickey, born May 5, 1935, in Baraboo, was the daughter of Russell and Ruth (Schneller) McMahon. She married Eugene (Gene/Irish) McGonigle on Sept. 15, 1953.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Gene McGonigle; sons, Robert McGonigle and David (Pam) McGonigle, both of Baraboo. She was the proud grandmother of Brittany, Kristin, and Kayla, all of Baraboo, Danielle of San Diego, CA, Joseph of Phoenix, AZ, and Trevor of Pardeeville. She is also survived by one brother, Wayne McMahon and one nephew, Scott McMahon, both of Kansas City, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents; and children, Ruth, Gary and Daniel.
Mickey lived her entire life in Baraboo, where she raised her family. For a number of years, she was employed at Francine’s Dress Shop and as a hostess at the Farm Kitchen Restaurant. She also served on the St. Clare Hospital Auxiliary Board, where she took particular interest in the hospital gift shop.
Mickey was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church, where she especially enjoyed working with the ladies of the church on the spring luncheon. Her delicious recipe for chicken salad was especially enjoyed by all those attending.
A special thank you to the personnel at St. Clare Hospital, Home Health United, and St. Clare Hospice for their gentle and loving care. The family is grateful for the time, love, and patience shown to Mickey while facing her challenges with cancer. Also a special thank you to the many friends, who shared time with Mickey and her family during this difficult time.
The family will receive family and friends at Trinity Episcopal Church in Baraboo on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Services will take place at 11 a.m. at the church, with burial to follow in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.
